Product Description

Binocular Chest Pack by Alaska Guide Creations

This chest pouch features soft, quiet fabric in a camo design.  It comes in two sizes, one for 10x40 binoculars and one for larger 15x56 binoculars.  It has one main pocket for your binoculars, but also has three outside pockets for lights, knives or even a small GPS or rangefinder.  In addition there is a pocket on the back for thin items like your hunting license/tag.  There are also a couple sheaths on the top to hold something like a smartphone or small flashlight for quick access. This pouch is perfect for protected your binoculars from the weather and branches that might scratch them while you are stalking game.  The fabric is quiet and highly water resistant to protect your binoculars while keeping your hands free and eliminating neck tension.  Made in the USA!

Jaret Owens - designer of this Bino Chest Pack- grew up during the 1950’s learning to hunt and fish in the back country surrounding the small town of Ojai, California. Jaret currently is a successful Alaskan hunting guide and for over 40 years has been leading hunters and friends where big game and big adventure can still be found in the Alaskan backcountry.

The small sized packs are designed for small to mid sized roof prism binoculars like the Swarovski 8.5/10/12 x 32/42/50mm binos. It will accomodate objective lenses up to 50mm in diameter. The Bino Pack’s main compartment accommodates binoculars up to approximately 7.5 inches tall x 5.5 inches wide x 3 inches thick. If you’re binos don’t fit you can always return or exchange for the large size.

The large sized packs are for 15 x 56 binoculars, etc.

Concerning harness straps – one size fits all, adjusting from women’s XS to men’s XXL. The straps are made of non stretch nylon so they will not sag like elastic. You can use the Bino Chest Pack with or without a separate neck strap attached to your binoculars. Jaret prefers a simple nylon parachute cord attached to his binos that fits loosely around the neck, or can be attached to the chest pack.

  1. Bino Chest Pack

Posted by John on 7th Nov 2014

I purchased this item after reading other reviews. I have friends that have similar bino packs and paid more than I was willing to pay. Fits snug and is made very well. Just put it through the test during my 8 day elk hunt and worked like I hoped. Extra pockets are great if you need them. Plan on picking up another one here shortly. Great product, great service and fast delivery.

  2. Bino Chest Pack Does Multiple Duties

Posted by Dan on 22nd Jul 2014

I purchased this pack based on other reviews and because I can't use the packs that have magnetic closures. The other manufactures clearly label that you should not use their product if you have a pacemaker. They too are ethical businesses and make quality products. The pack is well crafted and of good material. I recently used it to carry fly fishing tackle into a wilderness backpacking trip and it worked great. I have both the large and small size cases. I started with the small and purchased the large when I purchased Leupold McKinley binoculars. It doubles for a holster when necessary. Another benefit is it is USA made and fits great. This case is as good or better than the others on the market. You can't go wrong with this purchase and Couse Whitetail gives great service.

  3. Great for Swaro 15s

Posted by Justin Anderson on 29th Aug 2013

I have been looking for something to protect my Swaro 15s for quite a long time now. This Bino Pack is amazing. I love the way it adjust and fits snug to your body. I can also put my range finder and tripod attachment in the pack.
