The MP8 Black is packed with all of the same great features as the original MP6, only now it has 40 invisible flash LEDs and 8MP resolution.
This provides an invisible flash camera to those of us who desire security and want invisible flash technology at a very affordable price.
The MP8 Black comes in Mossy Oak Infinity, as well as Realtree this year! Realtree pattern is shown here in the photo.

I am new to trail cameras and didn't want to spend either too little or too much. I think I did just fine. This takes great day time photos and the night time ones aren't bad. It is apparent nothing knows it is being photographed day or night.
The only reason this is not a 5 is you can't lock it shut and the 0.90 second trigger speed is a little slow. These things cost money so spend accordingly.
BTW it will take a 32GB card, but I don't know if it will fill it.

I was sent the Covert Red 40 in lieu of the MP6 because of availability. The Red 40 is easy to program, has great color photos for daytime and black & white for night time. I like the compact size & the housing looks like it will be completely weather proof. I just put the two cameras I bought in the field and can't wait to see the results.

I was impressed with this little camera. It takes nice colored photos during the day. The mp6 does not have as many IR led's as the other models but still takes good night pics. I like the temp and moon phase it places on the pics. I also found out it has a password protect mode on it that I didnt know it had when I purchased it.
