This book was very informative for anyone that has never hunted Coues deer. Hunt Unit information could have been better, but that is not why you purchase the book. Definitely gives you the basic behaviors of the animal and gives you the techniques for any hunt. If you have never hunted Coues deer, this is the book to start with.

I have read this book cover to cover and it includes some great details about coues deer and their habits, including where to star looking for them. I would buy this book again.

If you haven't hunted Coues deer before, this book provides a basic overview of the techniques and behavior you can expect from these deer. Not any particular insight, and the hunting unit info is very dated. It is time for an update and expansion on this theme.

The book to own in regards to getting started hunting coues deer in the Southwest and Mexico. Duwane is one of the innovators of glassing for these deer and it's great to have his advice in a book. Do yourself a favor and get serious, own this book.
